Chris Lori

A name synonymous with Canada Bobsleigh, Chris Lori started in 1984 on a quest to become one of the world's finest bobsled drivers. This quest he would no doubt accomplish, earning the respect of cohorts and fans from around the world.

By his fifth season Chris had become a consistant medal contender in the two-man and four-man events, and in 1990 was Canada's first four-man Overall World Cup Champion. In his fourteen year career he would win twenty-two World Cup medals and nine Crystal Globes for placing top-3 in Overall World Cup Final Standings.

In four Winter Olympic appearances his best result would come in Albertville where he placed fourth in four-man, 11/100's of a second behind bronze. Following the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan, he co-wrote Fiercely Driven with his brother Ken.
